Darlene A. Muszynski, age 71, passed away on June 27, 2022 after a short battle with cancer in Council Bluffs, Iowa. With her sister at her side. She was born on Aug. 4, 1950 in Alpena, Michigan to the late Theodore and Dorothy (Kline) Muszynski. Jerry Mark Oliver, age 57, of Posen passed away as result of a UTV accident on July 3, 2022. He was born July 24, 1964 in Alpena to Jerry and Dorothy (Schultz) Oliver. Mark graduated from Alpena High School in 1982. On May 31, 1986 he married Jeannine Woloszyk. Mark sailed on the Great Lakes for 25 years before retiring in 2013. He enjoyed spending time in his garage, listening to loud music, playing with his “toys” and spending time with family and friends. Martha Jo Maddox, 82, of Gainesville, Georgia passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022, at her home. Martha Jo Kanarr was born on July 22, 1939, in Clare, Michigan to the late Benjamin and June (Hachmuth) Kanarr. Martha loved gardening and fishing. Surviving are her two daughters, Amy Armstrong, Nancy (William) Baker; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Nancy Kanarr. Kimberley Blaski Bates, 50 years old, died June 29, 2022, at home. Kimberley was born in Alpena Feb. 17, 1972. Kim enjoyed her nursing career and loved the outdoors. She would walk, kayak, or bike anywhere capturing the most beautiful, unique pictures, posting them for everyone to enjoy. Kim loved her family, and her dogs were the love of her life. Ida H. Ryers, 96, of Alpena passed away Friday, July 1, 2022, at her home. Ida H. Kissau was born in Hubbard Lake on May 9, 1926, to the late Henry and Martha (Radke) Kissau. She married Ned Heath on Nov. 8, 1947. He preceded her in death in October of 1971. In July of 1980, she married John Ryers. He also preceded her in death on May 13, 2004. Surviving are her children, Thomas (Susan) Heath, Phil (Sue) Heath, Linda (Tim) Jones; stepdaughter, Janice (Fran) Woodaz; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
