Cheryl Kus Voss, age 70, of Capitola, California passed away Sept. 8, 2021 at her home after a 2 1/2 year battle with ovarian cancer. Her family will be hosting a celebration of Cheryl’s life on Aug. 7, 2022 at the Alpena Yacht Club from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friends of Cheryl and her family are invited to join them to visit, share memories, and enjoy some light hors d’oeuvres and refreshments.

SZATKOWSKI, Kiley James, 44, of Alpena, died Thursday, June 30, 2022, at his home. Surviving are his parents, Michael and Nadine Szatkowski; fiancee, Christy Tolin; three brothers, Jason, Shawn (Tialyn), Luke (Jennifer); several nieces and nephews. Memorial visitation will take place Friday at St. Anne Church of All Saints Parish from noon until the Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. with Deacon Michael Roy officiating. Gordon Thomas Montroy, 67, of Alpena, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at his home after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was a kind, caring, and loving man that will be dearly missed. He was born on July 14, 1954 to the late Elwood Palmer and Mary Montroy in Alpena. He went on to graduate from Alpena High School and later work for Huron Portland Cement and LaFarge Corporation where he retired from with over 30 years of service.
