Nancy Tessmer-Bullen, age 66, of Las Vegas, Nevada, formerly of Alpena, passed away at her home on Sept. 13, 2022 after multiple battles with cancer. Nancy was born on Jan. 7, 1956 to the late Edmund and Helen (Kalisch) Tessmer. Nancy worked in the banking industry and was a successful realtor. Dwane Everett Hunt passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side at the age of 76, on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2022 after a valiant battle with cancer. Dwane was born in 1946 to Harry and Marion Hunt of Petoskey. Dwane was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and served in the Vietnam War. He was a lifetime member of the local VFW Post 2496. Irene T. Smigelski, age 103, was called home to her Lord on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2022. She was born on Sept. 10, 1919, in Alpena Michigan to Joseph and Cecelia Stoppa. She graduated 8th grade from St. Mary’s School and was a life-long member of St. Mary’s All Saints Catholic Church. On Oct. 9, 1971, she married Thomas J.
