KLINE, Jerry, 71, of Alpena, died on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2022, at his home. He is survived by two daughters, Crystal Sharon and Keri Kline, two grandchildren, Ricky and Cloey, three sisters, Daryl Kline, Marilyn Hanisko, and Denice Thompson. Per his wishes, Jerry has been taken for cremation from Karpus Hunter & Ross Funeral Home and no services are planned at this time. Inurnment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Dorothy Elsie (Krueger) LaFleche

LaFLECHE, Dorothy Elsie (Krueger), died on Friday, Oct. 28, 2022. She is survived by her children Georgene Hildebrand (Jim Park), Bruce (Peggy), and Joanne (Stephen) Gallagher. She is also survived by her sisters Esther Robinson and Betty Krueger, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, many beloved nieces and nephews, and family friend Barbara Tripp. Per her request, she has been cremated. Leroy Schaedig, 83, of Alpena passed away peacefully Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022 under the loving care of Touch of Country Care Home. Leroy was born April 13, 1939, in Ocqueoc, Michigan to the late George and Elsie (Grulke) Schaedig. As a life-long resident of the area, Leroy enjoyed all that the outdoors had to offer including hunting, fishing, and golfing. He also enjoyed bowling, trips to the casino, playing cards, scratch off lottery tickets, dancing with his wife Mary, and spending time with his family and friends. William Frank Shupert, 87, of Alpena, passed away at MediLodge of Alpena surrounded by family on Oct. 27, 2022. Bill was born on Feb. 7, 1935 to the late John and Nettie (Kurkerwicz) Shupert. He graduated from Alpena High School in 1953 and then served in the U.S. Army for two years. On Aug. 24, 1957, he married Sally Kendziorski at St. Anne Catholic Church. Bill worked at Abitibi for over 30 years, until his retirement in 1997. Bill was a man of strong faith and loved spending time with his family.
