Janice Sue (Seavers) Krueger, 71, of Herron passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022, with her family at her side. Janice was born on Oct. 16, 1951, in Alpena to the late Carl and Myra (Olsen) Seavers. She was a life-long resident of the area. She married Larry Krueger on April 22, 1972. They celebrated 50 wonderful years together this year. Janice graduated from Alpena High School in 1969 and then from Alpena Community College in 1971. Aileen Mae Tallman, 96, of Alpena passed away Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022, at Davison Care Home. Aileen Mae Bills was born March 11, 1926, in Alpena to the late Merle and Edna (Weaver) Bills. On Nov. 14, 1945, she married Donald Tallman. He preceded her in death on Sept. 4, 1981. Cheri Candace Clum, 72, of Alpena, passed away peacefully on Monday, Nov. 7, 2022 at Besser Senior Living Community. Cheri was born on Oct. 7, 1950 to the late Elizabeth and Floyd Clum in Lansing Michigan. She is survived by a sister, Victoria (Ken) Diamond and special friend Debra Welton. Cheri received her Bachelor’s degree and went on to work and retire after 20 years from the US Pentagon as a financial analyst. Sidney Wilfred Cowling, 80, of Alpena passed away Saturday Nov. 5, 2022 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born in the upper peninsula of Michigan on July 16, 1942 to the late William and Emily (Scott) Cowling. He lived most of his life in the Lower Peninsula with family. He graduated from DeVry Technical School in Illinois and worked at the Ford Motor Company as a tool and die specialist until his retirement.
