Kevin is survived by his wife, Pam; two sisters, Barb Fritz of Howell and Denise (Clint) Cunningham of Grand Blanc; and his four-legged companion, Ginger. BURNS, Arthur, 86, of Alpena, died at his home on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. He is survived by his four children, Delynn Burns, Debra (Steve) Partyka, Connie (Mike Szarenski) Burns, and Brian (Dena), eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a sister Laura (Joseph) Bleau. Family will receive friends for visitation at Karpus Hunter & Ross Funeral Home on Saturday, March 4, 2023, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. Burial will take place in the spring at Long Rapids Cemetery. William (Bill) Lewis, 90, of Alpena died at home, Sunday, Feb. 26, 2023. Bill was born April 14, 1932 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He joined the U.S. Air Force in September of 1951 and was a veteran of the Korean War. Bill had a lifetime career in the National Weather Service (NOAA) and was an accomplished photographer as well. Albert Nehm Jr., a resident of Turning Brook, formerly of Lachine, passed away Feb. 26, 2023. Albert was born May 29, 1938 in Hart, Michigan to the late Albert and Hazel (VanBrocklin) Nehm. After graduation from high school, Albert enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served for four years. On July 13, 1963 he married Virginia Robarge. Jerome “Jerry” Slominski, age 79, of Alpena, Michigan, passed away Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023 surrounded by family. Jerome was born on Sept. 17, 1943 to the late John and Eugenia (Gajsiewicz) Slominski. Jerome served in the United States Army and was stationed in Korea. He married the love of his life, Irene Kamyszek in 1966. Jerome worked for Michigan Consolidated Gas Company/DTE, retiring in 2001.
