Zachary Thomas Dean, 27, passed away unexpectedly on April 3, 2023, at his home in Georgia. Zac was born in Alpena, Michigan on Oct. 21, 1995, to Russell Dean and Jessica (Chabot) Pavley. Zac loved everyone and judged no one. He had a heart that matched his stature, and a laugh that would light up a room. Zac played football and baseball throughout his youth, he loved nature, concerts and playing disc golf. Charles “Chuck” Vogelheim, 71, of Rogers City passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his wife and children following a valiant eight-year battle with multiple myeloma. Evelyn Emma Werth, 91, of Alpena passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at her son’s home. Evelyn Emma Siegert was born April 30, 1931, to the late Ewald and Margaret (Domke) Siegert in Alpena County, Michigan. She married Willard “Bud” Werth on Sept. 3, 1949. He preceded her in death on Dec. 15, 2004. Evelyn was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. Evelyn was a hard, hard worker. Everyone marveled at her energy and ability to do so much.
