Justin Mcewen, 13, helps pull an invasive plant species called frog-bit out of the water on Thursday at Duck Park in the Alpena. He was there with Friends of the Alpena Wildlife Sanctuary, who were at the park to remove the frog-bit and will be at the park several days throughout August to continue removal efforts.
