Only women’s teams seeded 10th or above head to second round

March Madness has mostly been March Predictable in the women’s NCAA Tournament so far. For the first time since the tournament expanded to 64 teams in 1994, no team seeded 11 or worse advanced to the second round. Wildfires forced a mandatory evacuation in one North Carolina county as emergency crews fought separate fires in an area of the state still recovering from Hurricane Helene, while South Carolina’s governor declared an emergency in response to a growing wildfire. Tens of thousands of pages related to the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy were released last week. Not to spoil it, but he dies in the end. In the process of reviewing the documents, it is apparent that the government kept a lot private because the names of CIA agents in the field, their sources and methods of collecting data, etc. were all in the documents.
