According to Anne Gentry, Alpena Downtown Development Authority executive director, the mural is the latest installment of the Fresh Waves project. Bishop told The News that he is originally from Pennsylvania but is living in Oaxaca, Mexico with his girlfriend. He said this is his first time visiting Michigan.
