Santa Claus is coming to town
Santa will tour Alpena in a fire truck this week with the help of Alpena firefighters.
The North Pole native will make his appearance on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings beginning at 6 p.m., driving slowly down city streets and waving at passers-by. Residents may listen for a fire engine’s siren or jolly ho-ho-hos to know when Santa is near.
Santa won’t be able to stop for photos but is eager to spread holiday joy, Alpena City Firefighters Local 623 representatives said.
