LINCOLN-The Alcona soccer team won big on Monday.

Six different players found the back of the net as the Tigers routed Whittemore-Prescott 8-0 at home.

“All the kids that don’t see a lot of playing time got in and scored some goals for us,” Alcona coach Tim Munro said. “We’re headed in the right direction.”

Josh Kilbourn scored twice and Alcona got single tallies from Jordan Steiner, Brendan Nelson, Jake Gallagher, Rachel Warner, Matt Warner and Aidan Wrobel.

Alcona (4-5, 2-0 North Star League) plays at Oscoda on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
