Budlight defeated Black Sleep in a recent women’s softball doubleheader.

In the first game, Budlight won 16-9. Christin Sobeck led Budlight with four hits, including a home run; Ashley Simpson had a double among three hits and Sarah Meredith had three hits. Emily Vivian and Anna Himmick (2) each had a double among two hits each and Mary Schimmel and Krystal Marotta each had two hits.

Carolynn Graham, Deb Stosick, Mary Miller, Stacy Dawson, Angie Ruby and Libby Ruby each had two hits for Black Sheep and one of Dawson’s hits was a double.

In the second game, Budlight won 14-5. Sarah Meredith and Cassandra Shaw each had three hits and a home run for Budlight and Anna Himmick had three hits including a double. Ashley Simpson had two hits and Krystal Marotta had two hits including a triple.

Sarah Nowak led Black Sheep with two hits including a double. Angie Ruby had a double; Deb Stosick had a triple and Shanda Stosick had a hit.
