NSL track and field teams compete at Falcon Invite

OGEMAW-HEIGHTS – There were four North Star League track and field team competing over the weekend at the Falcon Invite in Ogemaw-Heights.

Whittemore-Prescott boys led the way scoring 207 points to finish first in the small school division. Fairview finished fifth, Oscoda finished sixth and Posen fished in the seventh place.

BOYS

Pole Vault: Kyle Monroe, Fairview (5th, 9). Discus: Kam Wheeler, Oscoda (5th, 112-9). Shot Put: Wheeler (4th, 41-10). 110 Hurdles: Michael Stadler, Oscoda (3rd, 17.84), Logan Klein, Fairview (5th, 18.92). 100m Dash: Lucas Brock, Fairview (5th, 11.95). 1600m: Seth Cleeves, Fairview (3rd, 5:02.22). 300m Hurdles: Stadler (3rd, 46.15), Klein (5th, 47.97). 3200: Jesse Yoder, Fairview (3rd, 11:22.93).

GIRLS

For the girls, Fairview ended with 72.50 points, finishing in fourth place. Posen finished fifth with 52 points, Whittemore-Prescott finished sixth and Oscoda finished seventh.

High Jump: Kayla Flewelling, Posen (3rd, 4-4). Long Jump: Mara Krupinski, Fairview (1st, 14-9.50), Lindsey Randall, Posen (3rd, 14-5.50). Shot Put: Kelsey Jakubcin, Posen (1st, 30-4), Kate Tomlinson, Fairview (4th, 24-2). 4×800 Relay: Fairview (3rd, 12:36.50), Posen (5th, 13.54.80). 100 Hurdles: Sarah Flandrich, Fairview (3rd, 19.04). 4×200 Relay: Fairview (2nd, 1:58.11). 1600: Paige Jenkins, Fairview (6:35.50). 4×100 Relay: Fairview (4th, 58.41). 400m Dash: Randall (1st, 1:02.68). 800m Run: Andrea Ford, Fairview (3rd, 2:44.12). 200m Dash: Randall (1st, 28.49), Krupinski (4th, 28.87).
