Cooper Bright

ALBION — Alpena student Cooper Bright was selected as a member of Albion College’s 2026 track and field team. Bright competes in sprinting events for a Second Season with the Britons.

“This season will be exciting for our youngsters to learn the ropes of competing at the college level,” said Lance Coleman, Director of Albion’s track and field programs since 2011. “We have a young up and coming group of competitors and that’s going to make us exciting and fun to support.”

The first outdoor contest for the Britons takes place Friday, March 27 at 3 p.m., at home.

Bright is majoring in psychology with a minor in educational studies with a concentration in human services. Schuster is the child of Michael and Tricia Schuster of Rochester Hills and is a graduate of Avondale Senior High School.
