Stiehm misses the mark in latest column
In columnist Jamie Stiehm’s account on May 16 of Justice Samuel Alito’s choice of representing the smallest of humans, Stiehm misses the most basic of tests. She speaks with an assurance that she knows what side to come down on. Down is not taking into account God, who is the author of life. The vote, reproductive rights, is a decision that lasts.
The harm of Roe v. Wade indeed drives many a soul to ponder our sins. God forgives us. The trouble we can feel in this world is so often self-wrought.
