Why is the media so silent on Afghanistan?

How come the media is silent on the greatest scandal ever that the American taxpayers have endured. The lengthy war in Afghanistan, which ended up in a colossal disaster, and billions of dollars in loss of military equipment that was left for the enemy to do what they please. They can even sell them for some nukes that their neighbor Pakistan has. Terrorists and arms dealers all over the world must be drooling.

President Trump was with Hannity last week and spelled out the loss, which amounted to billions of dollars of military equipment deliberately left behind. I heard him say 28 Apache helicopters, 700,000 machine guns, and other expensive equipment. This second Vietnam has also cost thousands of lives lost and disabled veterans and for what? The late President Ike’s warning about the big military industrial complex has not been heeded, and neither has George Washington’s warning about meddling in foreign affairs.

It’s funny that we were helping Afghanistan when Russians were there in the 1980s, and suddenly they became our enemy?

I can’t get over the fact about those helicopters. Just think if those copters were converted for our needs such as our medical first responders, border patrols, U.S. Coast Guard, forest service, police units, etc?

This whole matter is so reckless and irresponsible that it had to be deliberate. If that’s not enough to haunt us, then we have the walk-ins on the southern border without any scrutiny, and now the new larceny terrorists in San Francisco with their blitzkrieg of smash, loot, and run technique. The world knows by now that we have no leadership. A country without borders is nothing but a landmass for the taking.
