Grateful for clubs’ work honoring veterans
I’m grateful to the Booster’s and The Kiwanis Club for the beautiful job they do honoring our veterans on Flag Day. I have a flag honoring my father who was in the Navy down on Chisholm. The drive into town is so beautiful when all the flags are flying. It’s a good time to remind all of us that when a veteran walks by you take a minute to thank them for their service. They really appreciate it. After all, that’s what the flags are about. And if they were in Vietnam, welcome them home, they really didn’t get much of that. In honor of every veteran out there, I’m grateful for your service and my freedom. God Bless you.
