Editorial cartoon ruined Biden unity theme
How disappointed I was this morning.
I spent quite a bit of time yesterday reveling in the optimism of President Joe Biden’s message of UNITY.
Then I open the paper this morning and very shortly see the editorial cartoon!!
I know I may be naive, but just for one more day, I hoped the message would be one of hope.
That just for one more day, the attack on the new president would “hold off” . . . I am still basking in the aura cast by the song “Let the Sunshine In” and remembering the beautiful lines of the poem by Amanda Corman.
Oh, well.
