I would just like to express our gratitude to the Lions club and Habitat for Humanity for donating their time and money in order to help our family.

I sent a letter just a few weeks ago asking for assistance in building a ramp for our family member, and just a few weeks later the ramp is already complete.

So many volunteers showed up from the Lions Club and Habitat it just overwhelmed us.

What a fantastic community we live in.

We are so fortunate that we were able to help these two young individuals that are just starting their life together. I can’t express enough how this has eased the burden for them.

So much for a young couple to take in at one time, but this has truly made all the difference.

If anyone can donate to the Lions Club or Habitat for Humanity, I ask you to do so. They change lives and make really difficult situations better. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of your hard work and caring dedication.

As Erma Bombeck said, “Volunteers are the only human beings on the face of the earth who reflect this nation’s compassion, unselfish caring, patience, and just plain loving one another.”
