Are you putting a fox in the chicken house?
Would you vote someone into the county commissioners office if they took some of his neighbor’s property by imminent domain? My dad said the only way to keep the fox out of the chicken house is stop it before it gets in.
Dave Karschnick did that to his neighbor. His neighbor, an old guy, gave up the fight after he saw the cost of attorney’s fees were too high. Dave used the city attorney, so it was probably payback for an old favor.
The good old boy network is still well and lives in Alpena.
