When we have one of the most effective senators representing us now, why would we replace him with someone bought by the DeVos clan?

We must stick with Sen. Gary Peters, who is a proven leader and is making life better for Michigan workers and families!

Why? Because the DeVoses want to protect their own interests — not ours! Betsy famously wrote: “My family is the biggest contributor of soft money to the Republican National Committee. I have decided to stop taking offense at the suggestion that we are buying influence. Now I simply concede the point. We expect a return on our investment.”

They spent about a million dollars “buying” Republican senators to confirm her as secretary of education. Now, they bought John James with millions, hoping to make him their senator. But WHO will be his boss — DeVos or Michigan’s residents?

When the Devoses disagreed with a Republican representative voting for the best interest of his small county, they “punished” him by contributing almost $184,000 to the campaign of another Republican to defeat him. James has pledged his loyalty to DeVos and will leave us behind.

∫ build a manufacturing center to expand training and apprentices for workers and vets

∫ support small businesses with larger Small Business Administration loans

∫ increase investment in broadband infrastructure

∫ end outsourcing jobs and return them to Michigan

Seven times, he co-sponsored bills to provide relief for Michigan families and workers dealing with damage from the coronavirus. And this is only a partial list of his accomplishments!
