In response to Mr. Cardwell, President, Young Democrats of Alpena:

I am surprised. The level of hypocrisy in your letter is normally spewed by much more seasoned progressive liberals. Your concern about those who cannot protect themselves during this ongoing pandemic is a noble thought. We should all do our very best to ensure that those individuals are protected and cared for. However, for you to ignore those who truly cannot protect themselves outside of this pandemic crisis is hypocrisy at its highest level.

I am speaking of the untold thousands of unborn victims who have no protection from the abortionist’s probe. Who is to protect them? It certainly isn’t those in the Democratic Party. Modern science has clearly established that life begins at the time of conception yet your party forges ahead with a new level of barbaric procedures which leave the newly born subject to termination. I suggest that you research what is on the legislative agenda of the Democratic Party in the state of New York.

You further speak of this nation’s Constitution as if that very document is where we derive our right to life. Our rights to Life and Liberty are bestowed to us by our Creator. Those rights as our founders outlined in the Declaration of Independence, are unalienable, which means they cannot be taken away by any government or individual.

Every day we receive a running total of the death count that has occurred due to the Chinese COVID-19 virus. The numbers are horrific, yet we as a nation seem to accept the fact that there are over 2,000 abortions each day in the United States.
