Virus won’t cause another Great Depression

A Great Depression will not happen because of the coronavirus.

In the 1920s, there was no way to restart our economy. We had no real government and government programs to help us. Now, we have tens of thousands of people on military and government payrolls and existing programs such as unemployment insurance, social security benefits, food stamps, Medicare, Medicaid, disability income, state aid, and government grants to protect us.

Other new national financial aid packages are sure to follow very soon.

The coronavirus will affect our physical health and our health care system greatly. But it will pass in a matter of months and our economy won’t stop. Hold onto your 401(k)’s and lower concerns about your financial health.
