Businesses didn’t just throw in towel
Regarding your article in the Saturday/Sunday Jan. 25-26 edition about empty buildings in Alpena. Pre-sale of the Thunder Bay Shopping Center, almost all buildings were full. The tenants did not dissolve their businesses like the article made it sound. One business was tehre over 30 years and relocated and I was there for 17 years and eight months and have also relocated. I think the article should have been investigated a little bit more to not sound like all the tenants just threw in the towel and closed up.
