As pointed out twice prior, Alpena Public Schools would again ask the unthinking follower to vote for $33.9 million in bonds, a lessor amount and baiting with “no new taxes.” We pay off the current bond debt and they add NEW taxes to equal the old? They use tactics such as, “I don’t know what our other options are,” and, “We have no choice.” There is always another choice, look for it. Where’s the Plan B? There was never an Option B in the first place, which the board admitted. Where’s the WRITTEN Preventative Maintenance Plans, or the WRITTEN Planed Maintenance Plans? Alcona County is still functioning. Quality leadership always has more than one vision or plan. Poor leadership preys on the unthinking follower.
