DART should expand evening ride services
As the Dial-a-Ride business requests an increase in millage, it seems a good time to point out the need for evening services. A large segment of the Alpena population consists of persons who do not drive cars, including the disabled. This leaves these people with no way to attend the many evening activities that Alpena has to offer, concerts, plays, church, festivals, etc. Do not these people have a right to participate in what their community has to offer?
