Grounds crew does great job at the cemetery

Last Saturday night while we were on our nightly bicycle ride through downtown Alpena, we decided to finish the night with a ride through Holy Cross Cemetery at about 10 p.m. To our surprise, the amount of solar lights that glow after dark was amazing. We have visited there during daytime hours, however, the night time view is something to behold. It shows the care, and love that we hold dear in our hearts for our loved ones that have passed. It looks like a small city.

Two thumbs up to Mike Wysocki, the groundskeeper, and his crew, Ed Sytek and Ray Carr. They work hard every day to ensure that although our loved ones are gone, they’re never forgotten. Keep up the great work men, it means a lot to us.

If you have family, friends or people you have know, take a walkthrough, or better yet, take a drive through at night. You’ll be impressed, I know we were. Our appreciation to Mike and all the people that care. God bless you.
