Convenience of flying nearby worth the price
We will like to add to the comments about SkyWest flights into Alpena as stated by Gary LaCross. Recently we flew from Alpena to Phoenix with a direct flight from Detroit leaving Alpena Regional Airport on the 1:38 p.m. flight and arriving there at 5:17 p.m. Our return flight brought us into Alpena at 10:05 p.m. with the new touchdown at Pellston being no problem. The convenience of flying from home was worth the rather exorbitant cost compared to driving downstate. The personnel are very helpful and courteous here too.
