Join us at Saturday’s business expo
Want to know more about local businesses?
Want to find books of all genres for a reasonable price?
Want a chance to win raffle drawings and various prizes?
If you said “yes” to any of the questions above, be sure to check out The News’ Business Expo on Saturday. Come join us from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the APlex, 701 Woodward Ave.
In an article in Tuesday’s edition of The News, staff writer Steve Schulwitz reported that dozens of local businesses will have booths set up at the 25th annual expo.
Businesses will show off their projects and share information about the services they offer, from health care to education. People will be able to learn firsthand from owners, administrators, and employees about businesses from all over Northeast Michigan.
Also at the expo, the Kiwanis Club of Alpena is taking over the annual book sale, formerly hosted by The News. With thousands of used books in diverse genres to peruse through, there is sure to be something for everyone.
At the book sale, you’ll find everything from bestsellers and classics to children’s books and more, all for $1 or $2. Profits from the sale will go toward different projects and causes the Kiwanis Club supports.
Not only are there goodies and prizes to find at the expo, but it’s also a fantastic opportunity to connect with others in the community, both businesses and individuals.
The event has had a positive turnout in the past, so plenty of Northeast Michiganders are sure to roam about again on Saturday, taking in the event.
We’re excited to see what this year’s event will bring, from the donated funds and striving businesses to memories and opportunities.
The expo presents something for everyone, so come on by and see everything the event has to offer.
