WALTER G. WEINKAUF JR

Walter G. Weinkauf Jr., 72, of Alpena passed away surrounded by his family on August 17, 2022. Walter was born on Sept. 2, 1949 to the late Walter Sr. and Theresa (Kuchinski) Weinkauf. On July 28, 1972, Walter married Susan Lewandowski at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Alpena. Together they would have celebrated 50 years of marriage if it were not for Susan’s passing in January 2022. Walter graduated from Alpena High School in 1967. She is survived by her daughter, Monica Enlow; three siblings, Burt (Sheila) Ide, Gordon (Linda) Ide, and Nancy (Dale) Durecki; and two nephews and one niece.
