GRILLOT, Dorothy, 90, of Alpena, died on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023, at MediLodge of Alpena. She is survived by three children, Linda Foster of Sidney, Ohio., Peter J. Grillot of Greenville, Ohio., and Ed (Cherylann) Grillot of Pace, Florida., and nine grandchildren. Dorothy has been taken for cremation from Karpus Hunter & Ross Funeral Home. Albert C. Schaudt, 73 of Rogers City, passed away Tuesday morning Jan. 24, 2023 at his home. The son of Elvin and Ella (Wolgast) Schaudt was born Sept. 12, 1949 in Rogers City. Albert grew up on a dairy farm in Pulawski Township and graduated from Posen High School in 1967. He worked for a brief time at United States Steel before enlisting in the United States Marine Corp in 1969 during the Vietnam War. Donald “Jim” James Fredlund, 94, of Grayling, Michigan, passed away to his Heavenly home on Jan. 23, 2023. Jim was born to Lawrence and Gladys (Sleeman) Fredlund in South Range, Michigan on Aug. 8, 1928. Jim worked for 24 years as an air traffic controller for the United States Air Force until his retirement Jan. 31, 1970. Michael Steven Gutka

GUTKA, Michael Steven died at his home on Jan. 25, 2023, under the care of hospice at the age of 68. Surviving are his brothers Marty Gutka,Jay (Olga) Gutka; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Doris Mae Michaud of Midland, Michigan passed away on Jan. 22, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was at peace. She was born in Detroit on Feb. 17, 1930, to Jim and Winnie Martin and grew up in Alpena. Doris married her sweetheart Terry Michaud on Aug. 19, 1950, in Alpena.
