CAROLE J. BELAND

Carole J. Beland 84, of Alpena passed away Friday, March 10, 2023, at Turning Brook. Carole was born Dec. 22, 1938, in Alpena, Michigan to the late Louis and Hilma (Ruhnke) Burnham. On Aug. 6, 1960, she married William Beland. He preceded her in death on March 2, 2011. She was a volunteer for MyMichigan Medical Center Auxiliary in the gift shop for several years and enjoyed going to the casino. Sandra Jean Palmer, 55, of Alpena passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023, at MediLodge – Alpena. Surviving are her husband, Bill; father, Jess (Charlene) Kovacs; three siblings, and an aunt, Margaret. Cremation arrangements are being handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.

WITKOWSKI, Tamara Marie, 64 of Rogers City, died at home on March 8, 2023. She was born June 3, 1958, in Detroit and lovingly adopted by Howard and Betty (Baker) Wright. Tammy is survived by three sons, Joshua (Melody), Adam Hincka, and Travis Hincka; one daughter, Jessi (Chris Lanter) Witkowski; three grandchildren, Brooke, Jocelyn and Lillie; one great-grandson, and her dear friend, Wanda Tolin of Long Rapids. Stanley John Dziesinski, 74, of Alpena passed away Friday, March 10, 2023, at home. Stanley was born Sept. 27, 1948, in Alpena to the late Alexander and Anna (Chalupniczak) Dziesinski. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. On Nov. 7, 1990, he married Carol Lange. Stanley worked at Alpena County Road Commission for 36 years and J.C.D. Trucking. Theron Victor Franklin, 82 of Waterford, Michigan and formerly of Lincoln, Michigan died on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan. He was born Nov. 10, 1940 to Leonard and Julia (Souler) Franklin in Lincoln. He attended Lincoln School and graduated from Alcona High School with the class of 1959.
