SOPHIE THERESA ZYRACKI

Sophie Theresa Zyracki age 101 of Posen passed away peacefully at home on March 23, 2023. She was born August 15, 1921 in Posen to Andrew and Agatha (Blasczyk) Zyracki. Sophie is survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Gladys, Genevieve and Stella (Harry) Smigelski; a brother, Stanley; her parents; and grandpa George. Sophie was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church. STEVENS, Eric M., 35, of Alpena, died Friday, March 17, 2023. He is survived by his parents, Glen and Darlene Stevens, two sisters, Sarah Stevens and April Straley, girlfriend, Kelli Smith, a very special nephew, Levi and a precious new niece Cami. Bryce Alan Robillard, 31, of Alpena passed away at home March 17, 2023. Bryce was born on Oct. 10, 1991, in Alpena, Michigan. He was an Alpena High School graduate where he played football through the years. Bryce enjoyed anything outdoors, fishing, camping, motorcycling, snowmobiling, ice fishing and his time spent with family and friends. Andria Ellen Snavley, 79, passed away on March 20 at home. Andria was born March 23, 1943 to the late Roy and Helen Marciniak of Alpena, Michigan. Andy enjoyed music and writing poems, and was prone to breaking into song at family gatherings. She absolutely loved people and was dedicated to customer service for more than 40 years of banking. She prided herself on knowing people’s names and stories. Because she never met a stranger, Andy would meet someone new, and knit them a scarf while she learned all about them. Richard J. (Rick) Bennett, 68 years old, of Ossineke, Michigan, died on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, following a brief battle with cancer. Rick was graced with the presence of loving family and friends during his last weeks of life. Rick was born on July 8, 1954, in Amsterdam, New York, the youngest of six children born to Grant and Lorraine Bennett. The family moved to Ossineke in 1969 and Rick graduated from Alpena High School in 1972. For many years, Rick was a cross-country truck driver, having driven truck in all 48 of the contiguous states. Velma Mary Jean (Scott) Myers, 87, of Barton City Michigan died on March 18th, 2023. She was born in Detroit Michigan to Joseph and Pearl (Jeffries) Scott on July 23rd, 1935. On June 9th, 1956 she married Franklin Myers in Detroit. They moved to Barton City in 1969, and bought Paradise Cottages resort. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Lincoln. Throughout her life Velma held many jobs. She was a Teacher’s Aide for Head Start, Activity Director at Lincoln Haven, and a Hospice Volunteer.
