Terrance Lee Jackowiak, affectionately known as Terry to his friends and loved ones, died peacefully on Jan. 27, 2026, in Bay City, Michigan. Born on Aug. 27, 1962, in Alpena, He was a beloved son to Richard Jackowiak and Bonnie Zadow, and brother to Angela (Jeremy) Rix. Cherished nephew of Walt (Sue) Jackowiak, Joe (Marla) Jackowiak, Mary (sister) and Mark Cole.
Terry was a proud graduate of Alpena High School, class of 1982. His passion for the outdoors was evident to all who knew him, as he was a devoted and adept fisherman. Many will recall Terry’s tales of the one that got away and the ones that didn’t, as he regaled friends and family with stories of his adventures on the water.
Rest in peace, Terry; your spirit will forever cast a line into the waters of our hearts.
