Shirley Ann Doetsch

Shirley Ann Holbrook was born in Coventry, England on November 24, 1945, to the late Willard and Una (Cole) Holbrook. She married James Doetsch on August 5, 1980. He preceded her in death on December 23, 2021.

Surviving are 2 sons, Will (Debbie) Dyer, Scott (Terrie) Dyer; 3 stepchildren, William (Heather) Doetsch, Jamie (Tracy Alt) Doetsch, Julie Selby; 10 grandchildren, Becca (Jack), Veronica, Brandi (Nick), Krysta (Ian), Andrew (Angela), Alex (Lauren), Addy, Amanda (James), Kailee, Shane; 10 great-grandchildren, Emma, Leah, Jack, Nolan, Hunter, Ryker, Angela, Dominic, Vittoria, Donnatella; sister, Doreen Pelshaw; sisters-in-law, Linda Holbrook, Denise Holbrook; several nieces and nephews.

Shirley was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Gary Holbrook, Michael Jimmie Holbrook and brother-in-law, Art Pelshaw.

A celebration of Shirley’s life will take place at Pappy’s Pub, 6449 M65 South, Lachine, MI 49753 on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 11-3 p.m. with family sharing at 11:30 a.m.
