LAWRENCE JOSEPH SCHMANSKI

Lawrence Joseph “Joe” Schmanski, 59, went to be with the Lord on Aug. 9, 2024. Joe was born into our family on Dec. 22, 1964, to the late Lawrence and Theresa “Cheech” (Spigelmyre) Schmanski. Joe served in the U.S. Navy after high school and then went onto work in the construction and fabrication industries. He loved deeply, walked loudly, enjoyed helping others, watching sports and was what his mom called a “social butterfly.”

Joe is survived by his daughter, Brooklynn (Hunter Toth) Awiszus; his beloved sister, Theresa (Tex) Kowalski, brothers, Thomas (Brendamarie) Schmanski, Patrick (Kathy) Schmanski, Donald (Paula) Schmanski, brother-in-law, Jason Brown; many, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a brother, James Brown.

Cremation arrangements have been handed by the Bannan Funeral Home and a private service will take place.
