Donna Tucker Badder, 82, of Hubbard Lake, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2024.
Donna Leschinger was born on April 4, 1942, in Dearborn, to the late Alexander and Dora (Nissel) Leschinger. Donna graduated from Alpena High School on a Friday in 1960 and went to work for Besser Company on the following Monday for 38 years. She married William (Bill) Tucker on Aug. 19, 1961. Bill passed away on July 1, 1991. After grieving the loss of her first husband, Donna found happiness with her second husband Richard Badder. Richard and Donna were married on Nov. 6, 1993. He passed away on Dec. 12, 2013. Donna loved being with her kids and grandkids and attending their sporting events. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church and enjoyed gardening and puzzles (jigsaw, sudoku). Donna was known as the “pie lady” and for bringing several to each family dinner.
Surviving are her two sons Mark (Robin) Tucker, Rich (Lori) Tucker; sister, Darlene (Gerald) Cadarette; brother, Larry (Bonnie) Leschinger; five grandchildren, Cody (Hannah Miller) Tucker, Dylan (Courtney Jones) Tucker, Luke Tucker, Jordan Tucker, Will Tucker (fiance, Shelbi Adams). Stepchildren, Tom (Jackie) Badder, Craig (Tammy) Gerow; step-grandchildren, Dustin Badder, Derek (Sam) Badder, Kylie Gerow, Travis (Sarah) Gerow; several step-great-grandchildren; many special cousins, nieces and nephews, and in-laws.
Donna was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Brandt.
Visitation will take place Friday at Bannan Funeral Home from 2 to 8 p.m. and continue Saturday at Hope Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Bryan Salminen officiating.
Interment: Hubbard Lake Cemetery
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Build Hope or Hospice of Michigan.
