She was a cherished mother to her children, Gordon (Anita) Wozniak, Paulette (Larry) Werth, Julie (James) Forrest, Gerard (Donna) Wozniak, and her late daughter Patricia Golder, whose husband David Golder (Kathy Beauchamp) remained a dear part of the family. Dorothy’s legacy continued through her adoring grandchildren, Amy Jo (Seth) Traylor, Bill Golder (Erica Aube), Cristy (John) Curtis, Eric (Breanne) Wozniak, Scott (Sarah) Wozniak, Janelle Wozniak, Jeremy (Lisa) Werth, Ashley Werth, Paul (Jennifer) Werth, Nicole (Michael) Malaney, Christopher (Kristy) Forrest, and Sarah (Jake) Griffore. Dorothy was a sister to Mary Jane Lamp, Lottie (Patrick) Couture, Lorraine Gorton, Edward (Susan) Roznowski, Marcia (LeRoy) Woloszyk, Barbara Straughen, and Anthony (Karen) Roznowski, Jr. She was preceded in death by her brothers Norbert and Walter Roznowski, and her brothers-in-law Bernie Lamp, Donald Gorton, and Bill Straughen. Her numerous nieces and nephews also held a special place in her heart.

Known for her steadfast faith, Dorothy was a devoted member of the Rosary Sodality at St. Casimir Catholic Church, where she was a long-time parishioner. She found joy in serving her church community and was a pillar of strength and compassion to all.

Dorothy’s passions were many and varied. She was renowned for her cooking skills, having prepared meals for numerous weddings and funerals, leaving a legacy of cherished recipes and full hearts. Her garden was a source of pride and beauty, reflecting her love for flowers and the tranquility they brought to her and others. As a 4H leader, she instilled high standards and a strong work ethic in the youth she mentored, traits that she herself embodied in every endeavor.

Her lawn was often the envy of her neighbors, a testament to the pride she took in her home and the strong will she applied to every aspect of her life. Dorothy was always caring for others, putting their needs before her own–a true matriarch whose selflessness knew no bounds.
