MICHAELINE LEWANDOWSKI

Sister Michaeline Lewandowski, of Farmington Hills, a talented artist and dedicated educator, entered eternal life on Jan. 31, 2024. She was 94.

Sister Michaeline was born on Jan. 5, 1930, in Posen, to the late Benedict and Martha (Klein) Lewandowski. In addition to her parents, Sister was preceded in death by siblings, Ralph Lewandowski and Henrietta LaTulip. Surviving are her niece, Anne (Edward) Gariepy; nephews, Joseph, Richard, Robert, and Michael Lewandowski; other extended family members, as well as her Sisters in Community.

Visitation for Sister Michaeline is planned for Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m., concluded by a 4 p.m. Vigil Service, at the Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home, downtown Farmington. Sister Michaeline’s funeral mass will be celebrated Monday 10:30 a.m. (in state at 10:00 a.m.) at the Church of the Transfiguration, 25225 Code Road, Southfield.
