KATHY JEAN GOEKE

Kathy Jean Goeke, 66, of Alpena passed away Friday, Nov. 24, 2023, at Corewell Health Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids.

Kathy Jean Henry was born in Alpena on April 19, 1957, to the late Ray and Emma (Cole) Henry. She married Ray Goeke on July 17, 1976, and they had four children: Elizabeth, Michael, Jonathan, and Ashley. He preceded her in death on June 27, 2022. She has worked in food services for the Alpena Public Schools, recently retiring due to health. Kathy was a member of the Community of Christ Church-Alpena.

She is survived by three children, Michael (Kate) Goeke, Jonathan (Laura) Goeke, Ashley (Chris Bellino) Goeke; five grandchildren, Alivia, Quentin, Zekiel, Logan, Isla; three brothers, Ray Henry Jr., Harry (Deb) Henry, David (Lisa) Henry

Kathy was preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth Goeke.

Visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. and where the funeral service will take place on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Elders Lynn Field, Gary and Barbara Villeneuve officiating.

Interment: Evergreen Cemetery
