JOANNE “DOROTHY” ZIOTS
Joanne “Dorothy” Ziots, known by many as “Dottie”, passed away on Saturday April 30, 2022, at her home. She was born May 30, 1930, in Detroit, to Anthony and Mary Fatur and married Edward Ziots on Oct. 10, 1953. In 1990, when her husband retired, they moved to Canada Creek Ranch in Atlanta, Michigan. Dorothy attended St. Paul Catholic Church in Onaway and was elected to the board of directors for Canada Creek Ranch where she served for six years.
Dottie is survived by her husband of more than 68 years, Edward; daughter, Catherine; son, Michael; and grandson, Adam. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 11 a.m. at St.Paul Catholic Church in Onaway.
