DORIS A. EDDY

Doris A. Glazerner was born in Anderson, South Carolina on Nov. 3, 1937, to the late Carl and Tessie (Timmons) Glazener. Doris worked at the Social Security office as a clerk. On May 27, 1989, she married Lomas “Pook” Eddy. He preceded her in death on Aug. 13, 2008. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Alpena, enjoyed singing old country music and spending time with her family.

Surviving are four children, Ted (Trish) Gacobelli, Carl Gacobelli, Susan Berrisford, Michelle Gacobelli, seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Eddy was preceded in death by an infant, Michael Dale, son, Michael Wayne, and sister, Ruby Myrl Nix.

Visitation will take place on Friday, Dec. 3, 2021, at the First Baptist Church of Alpena from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. with Pastor Paul Moceri officiating. Arrangements are being handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.

Interment: Evergreen Cemetery
