KENNETH T. HARRISON
Kenneth T. Harrison, 59, from Maple Ridge, passed away suddenly Thursday, July 29, 2021, surrounded by family. Ken was born on Sept. 29, 1961, to Trueman “Red” and Modesta (Jackowiak) Harrison from Wilson Township.
He married Elizabeth Smith Aug. 24, 1985, where their journey then began for 36 years. Ken is survived by his six children: Cory Harrison, Tracie Harrison (Schaedig), Jessica Harrison, Angela Harrison (Novak), Michael Harrison, and Amanda Harrison (Minton), his brothers, Michael Harrison, David Harrison, sisters, Kathy Harrison, Debbie Harrison, and Barbara Harrison (Chandler). He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Michelle Harrison (Habel).
Ken was a very loving, compassionate, energetic, outgoing, funny “papa” of his 16 grandchildren, who loved him dearly and were always super excited to see him. He loved the outdoors, hunting, dirt biking, snowmobiles, camping, and just being around his wife, children, and grandchildren. He was an avid lover of Alpena Huron Shores baseball and softball in which he taught and coached his children to be the very best. Kenny was employed for 36 years at Eagle Engineering & Supply Co. in Alpena, Michigan.
He will be missed dearly. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Aug. 8, 2021, at Maple Ridge Township Hall from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. McWilliams Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be registered at mcwilliamsfh.com.
