DONALD LEE HILLMAN

Donald was born on Dec. 10, 1946 in Alpena to the late John and Irene (Szatkowski) Hillman. On Oct. 11, 1969 he married Beverly LaFleur. Donald served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the D.A.V. and enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to the casino.

Surviving are his wife, Beverly, three daughters, Brenda (Joyann Brockell) Hillman, Lisa (Roger) Orozco, Tonya (Jory) Sharp, four grandchildren, Monicca, Chelsea, Hannah, Trevor, three sisters, Janice Sylvester, Penny Barton, Nancy McFalda, brother, Gary (MaryLou) Hillman, and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Hillman was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas Hillman, Robert Hillman, and sister, Kaye Bielat.

Visitation will take place Friday at Bannan Funeral Home from noon until the private funeral service at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Arnie Kirschner officiating. Military honors will be accorded him by the Alpena VFW Post 2496. Live streaming will be available at bannanfuneralhome.com.
