JENNIFER MARIE JONES

Jennifer was born in Alpena on Oct. 9, 1980 to Thomas and Jane (Szymanski) Jones. She graduated from Ferris State University hospital administration and enjoyed going to Belle Bay, concerts and listening to music. She was an avid contestant in the Brown Trout Women’s Classic for many years, proudly taking first place in 2019.

Surviving are her daughter, Taylor Raine Widajewski, father, Tom and Shirley Jones, mother, Jane Jones, brother, Bruce Jones, stepsisters, Sarah (Julius) Lema, Kelli Watlins, stepbrother Brett (JoJo) Robins, several aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

Jenny was preceded in death by her longtime companion, Jeff Longstreet in 2018, her grandparents, Thomas and Dolores Jones, Clarence “Choker” and June Szymanski, uncle, Thomas Szymanski and an aunt, Vicki Jones.

Memorial visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2 p.m. until the private parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorial visitation will continue on Thursday at St. Anne Church of All Saints Parish from 2 p.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Joseph Muszkiewicz officiating. For those unable to attend live streaming will be available at bannanfuneralhome.com.
