GEORGE EDMUND MORASKY

George was born in Wayne County on May 31, 1947 to the late George and Angeline (Ulch) Morasky. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army serving in the Vietnam War. George retired from the Besser Co. and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, playing cards with family and friends.

Surviving are his two daughters, Amy (Steve Sohl) LaLonde, Cathy “Pete” (Steve Conger) Morasky, three grandchildren, Kali, Shane, Taylor; five great-grandchildren, Dakota, Logan, Isaac, Ian, Jullian, dear friend, Karen Eller, brother, Bernard Morasky, three nephews, Joshua Morasky, Travis (Jessica) Morasky, Kyle (Rachael) Morasky and sister-in-law, Kathy Koss.

Memorial visitation will take place Sunday, June 28, 2020 at Bannan Funeral Home from 2-4 p.m. Military honors will be accorded him by Alpena VFW Post 2496.
