CHARRELL RUTH HEUSSNER

Charrell Ruth Heussner, 59, of Alpena, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020.

Charrell was born on May 11, 1961 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan to Farrell and Ruth (Kuehn) Heussner. She was a beautiful, kind soul who almost always wore a smile. Charrell graduated from Pied Piper School at the age of 26. She enjoyed taking trips, especially to Alabaster. She also enjoyed working, having worked at Besser Co. for seven years, as well as working at Frank’s Key and Lock Shop. Charrell also enjoyed boat rides, bike rides, coloring, going to see the monkeys at the zoo, and eating at Gen-Ar’s. Charrell was a member at Immanuel Lutheran Church where she would do volunteer work every Wednesday.

Charrell is survived by her mother Ruth, her three brothers; Scott Bowin, Bradd (Maggie) Heussner, Kregg (Debbie) Heussner, her grandmother Hazel Heussner, two nieces; Hayli Heussner, and Chelsea Marzean, her aunts and uncles; Elaine Heussner, Bill and Linda Heussner, Tana Heussner, caregivers; Don and Paula Haske, her “best friend” Brenda Snedden, longtime housemates; Vicki and Matt, her companion Tanner Dog, and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Farrell, her uncles Larry and Mike Heussner, and grandparents; Otto and Josephine Kuehn, and Les and Claire Heussner.

Charrell has been taken for cremation with a memorial service to be announced at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to Special Olympics and/or Immanuel Lutheran Church. Arrangements have been handled by McWilliams Funeral Home. Online condolences can be registered at www.mcwilliamsfh.com
