CAROL DIANE LANNOO

Carol D. DeYoung was born on April 13, 1940, in Muskegon, Michigan to the late Thomas and Eunice (King) DeYoung. She married Jerome “Jerry” Lannoo on Feb. 6, 1960. He preceded her in death on Oct. 24, 2006. They owned Lannoo’s Beauty Shop for 12 years. She worked many years at the former Holiday Inn at the front desk. Carol and Jerry were both very active in the Civic Theater and Foster Grandparent Program. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Surviving are her three children, Christina (Donald) Kieliszewski, Jerome (Candace) Lannoo, Jennifer (Stephen) Marshall; four grandchildren, Jordan (Sarah) Reynolds, Brooke Godsey, Logan (Melaine) Lannoo, Kirsten (Cody) Dutile; seven great-grandchildren, Lucas, Leah, Parker, Maci, Marianna, Amelie, Elijah; two brothers, Thomas DeYoung, Ronald (Nancy) DeYoung; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Lannoo was preceded in death by her in-laws, Arthur and Venetta Lannoo; two brothers, Kenneth DeYoung and Gerald DeYoung.

Visitation will take place Tuesday at Bannan Funeral Home from 2-8 p.m. and continue Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. James Erickson officiating.

Interment: Evergreen Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the new Alpena County Animal Facility, Hospice of Michigan or Immanuel Lutheran Church.
