JUDY ANN PIONTKOWSKI
Judy Ann (Mousseau) Piontkowski, age 71, of Alpena, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2018, at home.
On April 20, 1947, Judy was born in Alpena, Mich., to the late Wilfred “Skeetz” and Dorothy “Dot” (Thomas) Mousseau. As a Medical Assistant for several years she worked in private practice and at the Hospital. She married Charles “Chuck” Piontkowski on May 3, 1997, in Las Vegas, Nev. Judy enjoyed the Friday Night Dinner Club, gardening and watching her grandchildren’s many sporting events; from every home game and even to their away games.
She is survived by the loving husband of 21 years, Chuck and her two children Melissa Tessmer; Matthew (Rebecca) Tessmer; two step-children: Stacey Piontkowski; Christopher (Kim) Piontkowski; two grandsons: Landon and Elijah Tessmer; her two sisters Pamela Troy and Jane (Daniel) Kelly.
Per her wishes Judy has been taken from the Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home for cremation. Family and friends will gather for Memorial visitation on Friday, Dec. 28, 2018, at Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home from noon until the Memorial Service begins at 6 p.m. with Rev. Fr. James Fitzpatrick officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Michigan or Friends Together in memory of Judy.
